Grime Pays Season 2
The Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation returned with Grime Pays series 2 in July 2018 with 12 talented 16-20 year olds. Over 5 days the young people went through the intensive music course, learning how to make beats, write lyrics, create music videos and boost their skills and knowledge about the music industry.
The following video was produced, written, recorded and filmed all with in 2 days of Grime Pays. The group was put together after they individually scored high points during the production and writing tasks.
The other young people in the group directed every shot in the music video which made it a successful collaborative project. It then premiered on London’s leading urban platform Grime Daily.
