Flee FM (Premiere)

Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation Co-founders Ebs and Prince made an epic return to the music scene with “Flee FM”. which is a 7-track project of original music. Accompanied by a conceptual short film that transcends time and resonates with the pulsating essence of urban music culture, the Ruff Sqwad crew journeys back to the raw essence of a pirate radio set, revisiting the natural settings that birthed their early pioneering sonics.

Flee Fm premiered in March 2024 for former Grime Pays graduates, friends and family and offered a unique opportunity to engage with Ruff Sqwad and director Dumas Haddad, exploring the innovative storytelling and the cinematic journey that reflected the highly awaited new project. Following the premiere, a discussion panel featuring key contributors provided further insight into the film's development and the impact of the Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation flagship program Grime Pays. Ruff Sqwad aimed to inspire collaboration and creativity among emerging artists through this event, while also reconnecting with their alumni and celebrating the program's success.
